Connecting, Empowering, and Elevating Global Innovative Organizations Worldwide

Applications Open for the Intercultural Innovation Hub 2026

The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), together with the BMW Group and with the support of Accenture, has officially launched the 2026 edition of the Intercultural Innovation Hub (IIH), a global initiative designed to support organizations working to build more inclusive, diverse, and peaceful societies.

The programme seeks to identify and support innovative non-profit organizations that are using creative approaches to promote intercultural dialogue, strengthen social cohesion, and address some of today’s most pressing global challenges.

Supporting innovation for social impact

Through the Intercultural Innovation Hub, selected organizations will receive support to scale their projects and expand their social impact. The initiative focuses on solutions that promote inclusion, mutual understanding, and cooperation across cultures, including projects that use sport, education, technology, art, and culture as tools for positive social change.

Up to ten organizations will be selected to participate in the 2026 programme. Successful applicants will benefit from:

  • Financial support of up to USD 20,000
  • A one-year capacity-building programme
  • Mentorship and tailored technical support
  • Participation in international workshops
  • Access to a global network of changemakers

Building bridges through collaboration

The Intercultural Innovation Hub reflects the shared commitment of UNAOC and its partners to empower grassroots organizations and strengthen their ability to respond to complex social challenges. By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, the programme helps organizations increase their reach and sustainability while contributing to more inclusive communities worldwide.

The initiative also highlights the important role that cross-sector partnerships can play in advancing dialogue, preventing polarization, and promoting respect across cultures.
